Ellie from Lushington Chiropractic Clinic in Eastbourne explains the benefits of regular adjustments.

I just wanted to share with you all how I’m feeling great!

I had my regular monthly adjustment last week, which I felt was due ( you know when it’s time). I was feeling good in myself, with no muscular worries and I was interested to hear what my chiropractor had to say about my health. Dr James Revell (doctor of chiropractic, not medical), has now been treating me for over 6 years, providing exceptional chiropractic care. It’s amazing really how time goes by and many thanks to you if you read this article.

I had a few tweaks (as I like to call it) here and there. I was advised to do a little homework, which consisted of specific stretches and exercises by Dr Revell, but in general he was very happy and enthusiastic about my progress. Needless to say, I came out feeling great and it will be another 6 weeks before I go back for my next adjustment.

I just want to emphasise how important your check-up and adjustments are. Even for people who are feeling good about their health, why can’t you feel great?!  I will put my hands up and admit, that in the past, I have let my check-up times slip because I have been feeling “good”. But this doesn’t mean you leave your adjustment until a later date when you are feeling discomfort, stressed or run down.

My advice is to keep up with your personalised treatment plans and stay on top of your wellbeing to keep those niggles at bay. If you maintain all of the hard work, push above and beyond and keep healthy then it is possible to feel great for longer.

    Thanks for sharing Ellie, how do you feel chiropractic has helped your athletic performance?

      Chiropractic has helped to direct which stretches to work on. It also helps manage my muscle and joint aches or pains so I feel good and ready to train.
      My athletic performance is important to me and I love my training, whether it’s athletics or in the gym.
      Looking after yourself with Chiropractic is just common sense to me really.
